Genuinely one of my all time favorite books! It makes you cry and stare at a wall when you finish it. This book helped to formulate who I am as a person-- it did help that the main character and I share a name. I read it originally as a teenager going through huge anger issues- somewhat similarly to the fmc. I would highly recommend giving this a read, but be warned there are some triggers throughout the book such as violence, loss of family members, grief, and sexual assault.

Spicy! It was a good standalone book. It's dark fantasy + shifter with forced proximity + fated mates. MMC doesn't want to accept the FMC as a mate which leads to a small amount of neglect shortly after they first meet. There are some dark themes as it is a dark romance and those involve kidnapping, torture, and abusive/toxic relationship dynamics.
